[6 Part Series + Bonus] Balance

In this series, we are going to focus on balancing! Balance in all of the ways.. physical balance, of course! We'll be incorporating balancing postures into EVERY class so you can return and repeat these classes as much as you wish and see your ability to balance with ease continue improving with each lesson.

But we'll also be learning how to balance other ways of our lives. Balancing work vs. family, others vs. self-care, time vs. energy. There are many ways to improve balance in our daily lives; this will be your weekly reminder.

Series Overview

1) Yoga Foundations - the foundations of balance

2) Gentle Yoga - with a focus on balance

3) Yoga Flow - moving gracefully between balance and stability

4) Cardio Yoga - moving more quickly between balancing postures and stable postures to increase our heart rate

5) Iron Yoga - Adding the complexity of weights (optional!) to our balancing postures.

6) Yoga Flow - Another smooth all-body flow practicing even more balancing postures, moving with grace.

7) Cardio Yoga - upping the level one last time to increase the intensity of our flow

What you'll need:

  • Comfortable yoga clothes
  • A yoga mat or safe surface that you won't slide around on
  • (optional) A Chair

Your Guide

Shauna Hay-Viets has been teaching vinyasa-style yoga for over 6 years and has been practicing for over 13 years. Shauna was inspired by yoga’s ability to help her feel more confident, flexible, balanced, strong, centered, and peaceful.

Shauna graduated from 200 HR YTT in 2017 and completed a 50 HR extensions program in 2018. She teaches classes that range in intensity, from Yoga Foundations to Iron Yoga and Cardio Yoga. Her primary class style is a vinyasa-inspired Yoga Flow. She teaches primarily online via Zoom or to the employees of her corporate clients. Learn More About Me
