[4-Part Series] Yoga for Running

In this series, we will focus on yoga for running. We'll practice pre- and post-run stretches, I'll offer a great meditation to overcome those mental hurdles, and you'll get dynamic yoga flows to improve your strength and stamina. Let's train for healthy running habits together!

What you'll need:

  • Comfortable yoga clothes
  • A yoga mat or safe surface that you won't slide around on
  • (optional Yoga Props) A Chair, yoga blocks, blanket, or strap - sometimes I use them, sometimes I don't, props are great if you have them!

Your Guide

Shauna Hay-Viets has been teaching vinyasa-style yoga for over 6 years and has been practicing for over 13 years. Shauna was inspired by yoga’s ability to help her feel more confident, flexible, balanced, strong, centered, and peaceful.

Shauna graduated from 200 HR YTT in 2017 and completed a 50 HR extensions program in 2018. She teaches classes that range in intensity, from Yoga Foundations to Iron Yoga and Cardio Yoga. Her primary class style is a vinyasa-inspired Yoga Flow. She teaches primarily online via Zoom or to the employees of her corporate clients.
